About Me
A look into my technical background, competitive pursuits, and disciplines.
✎ About
I’m a 17-year-old high school senior from Prosper, Texas, with a massive interest in data logic, game development, and actuarial science. My favorite projects are the ones where I get to take a messy, unorganized idea and structure it into something clean using C# or Excel.
Outside of dev work, I lean heavily into highly competitive, fast-paced hobbies. I love anything that requires quick pattern recognition and extreme precision under pressure, which is probably why I spend so much time analyzing and playing chess, speedcubing, and pushing my typing speed to the human limit.

I originally got into coding out of pure curiosity, wanting to see if I could actually build the game concepts bouncing around in my head. Diving into C# and Unity was a massive trial-by-error process, but getting a mechanic to finally work after messing with it for hours is a great feeling.
For me, it's just a fun way to bring random ideas to life and see how all the moving pieces connect. I love having a project to constantly tweak and improve in my free time, and it's just cool to look at a finished piece of code and know I built it from scratch.

⌨ Speedtyping
I started competitive typing back in 2021 just to see how fast I could actually go. I just ended up getting completely hooked on trying to beat my own high scores and seeing how much further I could push my speed. It is a fun hobby to mess around with in my free time, and it definitely comes in handy whenever I'm working on schoolwork or programming.
⛋ Speedcubing
I first picked up a Rubik's cube back in 2018. I originally just wanted to see if I could actually solve the thing, but then I got obsessed with trying to shave seconds off my time. It's just a great passive hobby to mess around with when I'm taking a break, and it always feels awesome to hit a fast solve.
♕ Chess
I got into chess back in 2019, but ended up taking a pretty long break from it after a while. I only recently started getting back into it, and it's been fun relearning the strategies and seeing how much my game has changed. It's just a great way to challenge myself and kill some time when I'm taking a break from everything else.
